School of Health Sciences
The Associate of Science in Health Professions program introduces students to the essential concepts necessary for entry-level positions in the field of Health Science. Through this program, students develop a solid understanding of the human body, examine health and physiology-related issues, and stay updated with current advancements in the field. They also gain the ability to apply relevant information to real-world scenarios. The degree prepares students for transfer to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at Georgia Highlands College. Additionally, students who complete this degree will have fulfilled key course requirements for advanced degrees in fields such as Physiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant, Medical Doctor, and other health-related disciplines. Online completion is available.
To qualify for graduation, students must meet all graduation requirements.
