School of Humanities
The Associate of Arts degree in Art introduces students to basic skills in drawing and design in a variety of media. Students will gain knowledge of terms, principles, and visual concepts in design and art history through individualized instruction and studio courses. This degree program prepares students to succeed in a program like a Bachelor of Arts in Art History, or a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education, Illustration, or Painting.
To qualify for graduation, students must meet all graduation requirements.
