School of Humanities
The Associate of Arts degree in Film Studies introduces students to film history, exploring film as an artistic, cultural, and social phenomenon. Students will understand the cinematic medium and become aware of its impact as a cultural and artistic force. Screenwriting and Introduction to Film Production also enable students to gain insight into what a career in the entertainment business can look like. This degree program prepares students to succeed in a Bachelor of Arts in Film Production, Digital Media Studies, or a related study area.
To qualify for graduation, students must meet all graduation requirements.
