School of Humanities
In the Graphic Design program, students gain a comprehensive understanding of the principles, techniques, and tools involved in creating visual communication. Students learn how to effectively utilize software to bring their design concepts to life. Through hands-on projects and critiques, students refine their creative problem-solving skills, learning to communicate ideas visually while considering factors such as target audience, message clarity, and aesthetics. Additionally, students often have opportunities to collaborate on real-world projects, gaining practical experience and building their professional portfolios. This degree program prepares students for further study, progressing toward a variety of creative and design-related careers with design agencies, marketing firms, or in-house design departments of companies. Furthermore, the knowledge and skills gained in a Graphic Design program can be applied to related fields like art direction, marketing, and advertising, opening up additional career pathways.
To qualify for graduation, students must meet all graduation requirements.
